  • How long does it take to excavate a site for a new house?

    It depends on the size of the block, soil conditions and site access. A standard residential site cut can take anywhere from a day to several days. Rocky ground, steep slopes or limited access will add time. Getting a contractor to assess the site beforehand is the best way to get an accurate timeframe.

  • Can excavators access steep or difficult sites?

    Modern excavators are designed to handle challenging terrain, including steep slopes, narrow access points and rocky ground. The key is choosing the right machine size for the conditions.
