More Than Just a Pretty Wall
When a wall is built properly, it will outlast almost every other retaining solution on the market. We construct every wall with drainage, soil pressure and long-term performance in mind, not just how it looks on day one.
Our excavators are fitted with customised hydraulic rock grabs, so we can work efficiently even on difficult or limited-access sites. We also build decorative rock scapes and supply bush rock, landscape rock, sand, soil and gravel, giving you one supplier for the full job.
Material Range
We build in whatever the site demands. Natural basalt and sandstone for prestige and rural applications. Concrete sleeper, besser block and decorative concrete block for structural and residential projects. Whatever the scope, we select the right material for the load, the look and the longevity required.

We do not build timber retaining walls. Timber does not last in this climate and we will not warrant work we cannot stand behind. If you've been quoted timber, call us first.

How long does a rock retaining wall last?

What is the best material for a retaining wall?
The best material depends on your site, budget and the purpose of the wall. Natural rock — including sandstone, basalt and boulders — is one of the most durable and low-maintenance options available and suits the Northern Rivers climate well. Besser blocks and link blocks offer a clean, structured look and are great for larger retaining applications. Sleepers work well for smaller or decorative walls. A qualified wall builder can assess your site and recommend the right option for your specific needs.
